Figures

  • Foot up
  • Half hands
  • Back-to-back
  • Rounds

Chorus

  • Half hey
  • Backhand low, forehand high sticking with partner (standing)
  • 1 double step across passing right shoulder with partner turning right to nose to nose.
  • Hopbacks to partners place.

Do not repeat back to place. Next figure is done from reversed position.

Clockwork Sticking (done after the second and fourth choruses to the C music):

  • 1,4,&5 face down; #2,3,&6 face up
  • Clash 8 times with a person or the air, turning left 90° after each clash except last.
  • After 8 clashes middle will be facing in, ends facing out. Middles do the low high sticking from the chorus while ends do 2 plain capers turning over their right shoulder to face partner. All cross with the same double step hopback sequence as in the end of the chorus.
  • Repeat sticking.

All face the same direction as before (1 down, 2 up etc). This puts ends facing in, middles out. Ends clash while middles turn around with capers. All cross back home.

Ends with half a clockwork sticking done double time, slowing to normal time for the double step and 4 plain capers at the end. Dancers will end across the set from their original starting postion.
